Google Calendar

Manage Your Meetings – Online

Google has re-envisaged what organizing your schedule should look like, online. Google Calendar allows you to easily keep track of business’ important events all in one place, from any internet connected device.

Schedule Appointments

In Google Calendar you can overlay multiple calendars,  allowing you to see when people are available. You can send the invitations and manage RSVPs directly within Google Calendar. Even receive calendar notifications via SMS.

If you receive an invitation or a mention of an event via Gmail, you can convert the email to an event and add it to Google Calendar or create an event based on the details in your mail directly from within Gmail. If you use Outlook, iCal, Sunbird or other “offline” calendar applications, you can integrate Google Calendar via its interoperable feature set.

Sharing & Publishing

You can share calendars company-wide or with select co-workers. The controls around sharing permissions help you to maintain security and privacy of your calendar while enabling others to see (and manage in the case of your PA) if you are available.

Furthermore, you can use Google Calendar to publicize external company events by publishing a calendar and make it searchable via Google. A published calendar can also be embedded into your website or on your intranet.

Mobile Access

As with all Google Apps for Business services (our curator’s choice for cloud communication systems), you can view and edit event details, create new events and invite guests on mobile devices (iOS, Android, BlackBerry etc).
